For visitors there are two parking sites, one is the multi-storey car park set back from the mini-roundabout on the Quay and the other is at the rear of the red brick built Thistle Hotel at the opposite end of the Quay to Poole Lifting Bridge. (Fee about £5) On the Quay there are numerous pubs, café’s, food outlets and shops.
Visitors should assemble on the quay at the top of the Boat Haven’s ramp, which is opposite Tesco Direct. If possible please make a mobile call to your skipper upon arrival. A member of the crew will then meet the visitors on the quay and escort them through the marina to Knoticat. The skipper will sign in the group in the marina office, indicating the number of people on board and the estimated time of their return.
On those occasions when Knoticat is not based at Poole full details of the pick-up points will be supplied when making your booking. On all occasions further advice about any of the above can be obtained by calling:
